We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing businesses, developing new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance existing businesses through effective communication and relationship-building with customers.
- Develop new business opportunities by identifying and pursuing potential customers, and introducing alternative products that meet their needs.
- Support customers and suppliers in the evaluation of products, providing feedback and suggesting improvements or alternative grades.
- Prepare and review quotations, and follow up with customers on payment issues or feedback.
- Manage inventory levels, source suitable suppliers from various countries, and take proactive actions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Submit weekly reports on sales activities to Assistant Sales Manager, and data for budget meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in raw materials and additives for food processing and/or pharmaceutical industries.
- Experience in international trading is preferred.
- Highly motivated and proactive approach to business development, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Able to travel overseas, with proficiency in Japanese language an added advantage.
- Possess own car is an added benefit.
