Role Overview

GIC Private Limited is a leading global long-term investor, and we are seeking an experienced professional to join our Investment Services Private Markets team as an Asset Vice President.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage deal structuring, due diligence, and closing for private equity, infrastructure, and private markets assets.
  • Provide financial operations support, including tax structuring, corporate holding structures, valuations, and financial reporting.
  • Lead the development of reporting and analysis capabilities within the private market space, covering hedge funds, private equity, infrastructure, integrated strategies, and real estate.
  • Oversee the performance of outsourced administrators, ensuring they meet service level agreements and deliver high-quality services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of outsourcing initiatives on operational performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline.
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA, CFA) is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or audit, with a focus on asset or business analysis.
  • Experience in private fund or private credit asset class.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and financial analysis skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to resolve business problems with well-structured analyses.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Data-driven, experienced in deriving insights from large data sets is preferred.
  • Proactive, high-energy, motivated team player capable of delivering on multiple initiatives.
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience in using technology tools for data extraction, modeling, and visualization (e.g., Power Query, Power BI, Tableau).
