Corporate Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Governance Specialist to support our firm's legal and operational functions.
This role will be key in ensuring compliance, managing governance processes, and working closely with stakeholders.
- Support Anti-Money Laundering/Know Your Customer review processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist with entity management, statutory filings, and regulatory submissions across multiple jurisdictions.
- Work with external partners on compliance and corporate secretarial matters.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate compliance and governance documentation.
- Track and manage legal deadlines, filings, and workflows to ensure timely execution.
- Facilitate communication and document flow between internal teams and external service providers.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a paralegal, corporate secretary, or legal operations professional in a fund, investment firm, or financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of AML/KYC procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with corporate governance and fund administration.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English; proficiency in Chinese is highly preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Familiarity with Cayman or other offshore fund structures.
- Exposure to venture capital, hedge funds, crypto/fintech, or private equity.
- Prior experience supporting cross-border compliance or working in a fast-growth/startup setting.
