The Role

Job Description

We are seeking a talented professional to lead the design, management and delivery of training programmes for our organisation.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the public sector landscape and be able to lead engagements with government clients and deliver training in diverse international settings.

We are a non-profit organisation headquartered in Singapore. Our mission is to improve public sector capabilities and governance around the world.

We partner with governments in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East to build public sector capability and leadership through training programmes, technical projects, and practical knowledge creation and sharing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with senior stakeholders to engage external partners and design impactful training programmes
  • Develop and manage learning interventions based on our curriculum framework
  • Scope, design and execute projects related to institution building and strengthening of National Schools of Government
  • Identify and work with subject matter experts to shape programme content and curriculum
  • Manage client engagements and contextualise learning interventions for local public sector environments
  • Facilitate workshops and programmes in countries where we operate
  • Lead and coordinate programme organisation and administration
  • Mentor and coach junior team members
  • Proactively identify opportunities for programme innovation or improvement

Requirements

Senior Manager

  • At least 7-8 years' progressive experience in government and public policy
  • Strong knowledge of public sector systems and institutions, and international governance challenges
  • Good track record of designing and developing learning interventions targeted at adult learners
  • Familiarity with core concepts in adult learning and instructional design

Manager

  • At least 5-6 years' progressive experience in government and public policy
  • Good track record of designing and developing learning interventions targeted at adult learners
  • Familiarity with core concepts in adult learning and instructional design
