Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Tendering and Applications Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering tenders, supporting front-end sales in respect of customer enquiries, and providing cost-effective, competitive solutions that meet our objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and submission of tenders in line with customer requirements, ensuring that tenders meet commercial guidelines and have the necessary sign-off in accordance with delegation of authority.
  • Work closely with Sales and Operations teams to provide innovative solutions that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Provide support to Sales teams related to tendering activities, including preparation of accurate Lost Bid Analysis for issued tenders.
  • Ensure customer requirements are satisfied while meeting our objectives, and sustain profit margins on tenders.
  • Follow up outstanding tenders with customers and Sales agents in accordance with agreed company requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in contract negotiation and complex tender management. They should also demonstrate a commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.


Requirements:
  • Degree in engineering, science, or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of dealing with complex tenders and contract negotiation in a commercial environment.
  • General computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
