Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at ENNOVATEZ PTE. LTD.

Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional end-user computing support, deskside assistance, and service desk support to the APAC Region in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver level 2 end-user computing support with expertise in Windows OS.
  • Provide hardware and software troubleshooting skills for PC equipment.
  • Pursue break-fix and IMAC support for end-user deskside devices.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting for iOS and Android devices.
  • Manage asset and peripherals inventory effectively.
  • Maintain knowledge of meeting room and AV equipment.
  • Offer smart hands support for networks and servers.
  • Familiarize yourself with Service Desk ticketing systems and processes.
  • Handle VIP support tasks.
  • Leverage Change Management skills to review new and implemented changes, chair CAB meetings, maintain dashboards, and prepare communications.
  • Analyze Incident trends, workarounds, and monitor aged incidents.
  • Participate in Major Incident Management, including communication, incident response teams, and supplier management.
  • Apply Problem Management techniques by chairing problem meetings, managing active problems, and highlighting new problems.
  • Liaise with testers and vendors for Release Management, tracking features, and defects.
  • Document processes and analyze trends for Service Request Management.
  • Identify service improvements and collaborate with teams to design new processes.
  • Contribute to Continual Service Improvement by highlighting areas of improvement for effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Prepare service reports and leverage ServiceNow for day-to-day management of the tool.

Requirements:

  • Possess good knowledge of ITIL principles.
  • Familiarize yourself with ServiceNow.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using the Microsoft suite, specifically SharePoint, Visio, and Excel.
  • Have exposure to or familiarity with automation concepts.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology or a relevant field.
  • Proven experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician.
  • Minimum 3 years of IT deskside support experience.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with diverse audiences.
  • Be customer-centric and focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
  • Working location: Central, Singapore.

Estimated salary: SGD 50,000 - SGD 70,000 per annum.
