We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to lead our construction projects from tender to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop a detailed project brief with assistance from the project engineer based on site conditions and cost estimations.
- Provide input to senior management for final tender price decisions.
- Attend tender interviews and reviews for project clarifications.
- Plan and allocate resources using initial tender information as a basis.
- Create a project schedule including manpower schedule, cost claim schedule, etc. for effective project management monitoring and reporting.
- Evaluate engineering aspects of the project to ensure sound design and constructability.
- Identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies to minimize them and execute the project efficiently.
- Execute the construction plan with cost control measures in place.
- Monitor work activities and individual performance daily submitting reports via common mediums.
- Submit weekly reports during management meetings.
- Coordinate customer acceptance process.
- Coordinate project closeout documents.
- Conduct post-project analysis and reconciliation of expectations in all aspects.
