Editorial Team Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking experienced and ambitious professionals to join our Editorial Team. Ideal candidates must be able to work in Singapore.

Job Description:

  • Acquire high-quality academic content for books and journals in STEM topics.
  • Develop and manage journals to enhance both quality and profitability.
  • Oversee the editorial process from manuscript to publication, including liaison with authors, reviewers, designers, and printers.
  • Establish positive relationships with authors, reviewers, editorial board members, advisors, colleagues, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration.
  • Ensure commercial value of acquired titles by analysing production time and cost to maintain a steady revenue stream.
  • Research market trends and prioritise publications accordingly.
  • Participate in marketing and promotion activities.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Applied Mathematics/Statistics.
  • Effective communication and analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must have initiative, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Must execute duties diligently to achieve professional success.
  • Prior experience in academic publishing is an advantage.
