This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity for an experienced Energy Trader to join our global trading team in Singapore.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled trader with expertise in physical middle distillates to manage cargo flows, identify arbitrage and blending opportunities, and build strong relationships with market counterparts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with internal teams for deal execution, using paper instruments to hedge exposure, and monitoring market trends to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trading physical middle distillates in Asia-Pacific and global markets
  • Managing cargo flows and identifying arbitrage and blending opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with market counterparts
  • Coordinating with internal teams for deal execution
  • Using paper instruments to hedge exposure
  • Monitoring market trends and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory policies
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of middle distillate trading experience in physical trading
  • Strong knowledge of physical and paper markets (ICE futures, swaps, spreads)
  • A proven P&L track record
  • Solid network and excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
