Energy Trading Technology Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Energy Trading Technology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technology team, you will design, develop and customize core trading and risk systems, build integrations, APIs, data pipelines and reports.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading global energy trading company that operates one of the largest commodity portfolios worldwide. With strong financial backing and cutting-edge technology, they are expanding their core technology team in Singapore.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and customise core trading and risk systems.
  • Build integrations, APIs, data pipelines and reports.
  • Enhance performance, resilience and automation across the platform.
  • Collaborate closely with traders, risk and operations teams.
  • Work in agile environments with full ownership of solutions.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong C# .NET and SQL Server expertise.
  • Experience in energy/commodities trading or financial services sector.
  • Solid knowledge of system integration and performance optimisation.
  • Familiarity with Azure IaaS/PaaS, automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
