Trading Specialist

The trading arm is specialized in the global procurement, trading, and risk management of energy commodities. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Trading Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the trading of petroleum, petrochemical, and energy products in forward and derivatives markets.
  • Analyse market opportunities and execute hedging strategies to minimize risks.
  • Manage a trading book and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and risk management protocols.
  • Coordinate activities with internal units and external stakeholders to achieve organisational goals.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics or a related field of study.
  • Minimum four years of experience in paper trading, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Proven experience in options trading and a strong understanding of options and derivatives markets.
  • Solid track record of delivering profitable trading results.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across regions.
