Join a leading agri-commodities trader as a Global Commodities Trader. Develop your career in a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in international trade, specifically in soft commodities, and be familiar with Incoterms and International trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare shipping documents by Letters of Credit and contractual requirements.
  • E nsure timely receipt and setup of shipping documents, including Letters of Credit, as per contracts and for negotiation.
  • Handle bulk vessel shipments.
  • Work closely with the Trade Team, Origination desks, and Shipping desk.
  • Supervise operations activities and provide leadership to the team.
Requirements
  • A minimum GCE 'A' level or Diploma in International Trade in Import & Export is advantageous.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Agri-Business/Trading Company, preferably dealing with soft commodities.
  • Strong communication skills and good working knowledge of MS Word & Excel.
  • Knowledge of GAFTA and FOSFA is an advantage.
  • Intensive experience in ICC rules for Letters of Credit is compulsory.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and International trade is essential.
  • Good understanding of commodity trading and strong attention to detail are required.
