Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Learning Strategies: The Learning and Development Director will develop, lead, and drive the learning strategy to strengthen people, organizational capabilities, and performance for the company.
  • Utilize Blended Learning: The lead will utilize blended learning as part of the L&D tools for the organization.
  • Deliver World-Class L&D Service: The L&D Director will deliver a world-class L&D service that provides thought-leadership and innovative learning tools and solutions.
  • Partner with Business Leaders: The role will partner with and influence leaders to optimize L&D resources and integrate L&D into organizational practices to attract talent and build and sustain a skilled, vibrant, and agile workforce.
  • Strategically Plan and Design L&D Strategies: The Learning and Development Director will strategically plan, design, and drive L&D strategies, policies, and processes to strengthen the learning culture within the group.
  • Lead and Manage the L&D Function: The role will lead and manage the end-to-end responsibilities of the L&D function and team, including evaluating organizational development needs, creating and executing learning strategies and programs to address those needs, and evaluating the effectiveness of those solutions.
  • Implement Various Learning Methods: The Learning and Development Director will implement various learning methods companywide (e.g., coaching, job-shadowing, online training).
  • Design and Deliver E-Learning Courses: The role will design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, and other training.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as an L&D Director, Training Manager, or similar.
  • Current Knowledge: Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods.
  • Familiarity with E-Learning Platforms: Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
  • Project Management and Budgeting: Experience in project management and budgeting.
  • Proficient in MS Office and LMS: Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen.
  • Ability to Build Rapport: Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors.
  • Education: BSc/BA in Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Professional Certification: Professional certification is a plus.
