As a small team, it can be agile and adaptable to market developments. The team's open and non-hierarchical culture nurtures members to speak freely. They share clarifications for projects or career aspirations, building up team members to gain experience and skills for their career trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing proposals for internal and external clients
- Perform valuations of businesses, intellectual property, financial instruments, etc., for financial reporting, mergers & acquisitions, dispute resolution, restructuring, and litigation support
- Conduct market and industry research
- Participate in meetings with internal and external clients together with manager and partner
- Develop financial models and assist in financial modelling or financial model review assignments
- Prepare comprehensive valuation reports, presentation decks and review memos meeting requirements of both internal and external clients
- Support business development activities
- Complete other ad-hoc tasks as required
Qualifications and Skills
- Recognised Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related fields or equivalent professional qualifications
- Demonstrated basic accounting knowledge and understanding of financial statements
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong interest in field of valuation
- A strong work ethic and ability to adapt to new challenges in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise shifting workloads
