Job Title: Business Valuation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Valuation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our valuation advisory group, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality valuations that meet the needs of our clients.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' experience in valuation advisory within a professional services environment. You will be responsible for performing and reviewing valuations of businesses, intangible assets, and financial instruments for purposes including financial reporting, transactions, and litigation support.

You will also lead market and industry research; design, build, and analyze financial models; and establish best practices, workflows, and procedures in valuation. Additionally, you will drive business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, engagement letters, marketing materials, and technical documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and review valuations of businesses, intangible assets, and financial instruments.
  • Lead market and industry research, design, build, and analyze financial models.
  • Establish best practices, workflows, and procedures in valuation.
  • Drive business development efforts, identify new opportunities, and prepare proposals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in valuation advisory within a professional services environment.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, with professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, CA) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), IFRS, and US GAAP.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
