Job Title: Construction Project Director

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead private and residential construction projects, including landed properties and factories. As a Construction Project Director, you will oversee project management from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans to meet contract timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage assigned projects, including attending tender interviews and audit meetings.
  • Conduct weekly site meetings with teams, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure task completion according to contract agreements.
  • Monitor site documentation, including RFIs, RFAs, shop drawings, and other project submissions, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Follow up on Project Extension of Time (EOT) claims due to project delays.
  • Compile and maintain accurate site documentation, daily and weekly reports, schedules, and application forms.
  • Respond to project-related emails and keep superiors informed.
  • Guide QS teams in negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers to maintain project budgets.
  • Lead project engineers, site coordinators, site supervisors, and workers to meet project requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in private industry and residential construction projects (landed properties & factories preferred).
  • Strong project management and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and teams effectively.
