Job Title: Business Operations Specialist

">Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Process remittance transactions efficiently and accurately within established timelines.
  • Reconcile positions with agent banks and internal GL accounts to ensure data accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintain proper records of transactions and related documents for audit purposes.
  • Liaise with internal teams and counter-parties to resolve discrepancies in remittance requests and communicate with stakeholders to confirm instructions or clarify details when necessary.
  • Utilize remittance processing systems and tools for data entry, validations, and approvals and perform daily reconciliations of processed transactions against system records.
  • Identify and escalate potential risks or unusual transactions to the compliance team and ensure all transactions meet the organization's risk management policies.
  • Generate and share transaction reports with relevant stakeholders and monitor and track pending transactions to ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
  • Diploma level and above qualification is required.
  • Prior experience in banking, especially in the area of cash remittance and SWIFT, would be preferred.
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented individual with great analytical skills is required.
  • Independent, self-motivated and team player with strong time management, organizational and follow up skills is required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and suggest process improvements is essential.
