Strategic Asset Management Role

This is a key position within our organization, responsible for overseeing the entire asset lifecycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure seamless operations and regulatory compliance throughout the process.

  • Manage assets from acquisition through decommissioning.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated asset lifecycle strategy aligned with facility needs and risk-based priorities.
  • Serve as the designated asset owner for process and laboratory equipment.

The role requires a strong understanding of ISO 55001/55002-based asset management system principles and experience in evaluating, negotiating, and managing service/vendor contracts and SLAs informed by lifecycle costing models.

To succeed in this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharma Engineering, Asset Management, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5-8 years of experience managing asset management, with demonstrated competency in technical asset and financial functions under ISO standards, is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Develop and implement strategies for asset management, including acquisition, maintenance, and decommissioning.
  • Reliability Engineering & Performance Optimization: Implement reliability engineering practices and performance optimization techniques to improve asset efficiency.
  • Asset Integrity & Inspection Oversight: Ensure asset integrity through inspection and oversight of maintenance activities.
  • Compliance & Validation Governance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and validate asset-related processes.
  • CMMS Management & Vendor Coordination: Manage CMMS systems and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • KPIs, Analytics & Continuous Improvement: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Budgeting & Capital Planning: Participate in budgeting and capital planning processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
