Job Detail

The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and managing logistics activities to ensure timely and efficient mobilization and demobilization of personnel, equipment, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate transportation of personnel and equipment to and from sites in good time as per planning schedules
  • Assist with travel arrangements (flights, accommodation, ground transport)
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, vendors, and internal departments
  • Maintain shipping documentation and ensure customs compliance
  • Monitor and control logistics costs to ensure budget adherence
  • Prepare application in good time as per schedule of offshore works and submit to relevant authorities to obtain all permits and licenses
  • Ensure all personnel, materials, and equipment arrive at correct location and at required time as determined by project managers
  • Organize crew rotations, mobilizations, and demobilizations
  • Ensure all crew certifications, medicals, and training are valid and up to date
  • Coordinate visa processing, work permits, and other documentation
  • Maintain crew databases and planning schedules
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree or diploma in logistics, business administration, maritime, or related field. Additionally, you should have at least 10 years of experience in logistics or crewing, preferably in the oil and gas sector working in Thailand.
