A senior logistics coordinator is required to manage and oversee the shipping and inventory processes of a food ingredient company.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products to customers, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This involves coordinating with internal teams, managing inventory levels, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipment schedules, and customer orders.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency in the shipping process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of logistical operations.
- Identify and address any issues or discrepancies related to shipping, inventory, or customer service.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and other logistics software.
