Overview

Senior Logistics Specialist - Warehouse and Cold Chain Management at ST Logistics. The role is responsible for executing general warehouse operations and activities, ensuring adherence to procedures and safe, efficient handling of goods and equipment. He/She coordinates deliveries, asset management and transaction documentation, and implements improvement opportunities within warehouse operations. May require rotating shifts and handling heavy loads. Requires vigilance, decisiveness, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in value-based culture and a culture of accountability
  • Adhere to governance, compliance, and reporting processes
  • Adhere to data governance and protection processes
  • Work with allocated resources within business activities
  • Apply operational policies, standards and procedures
  • Perform basic risk assessment
  • Support the department in incident or crisis management initiatives
  • Perform continuous improvement activities
  • Document business requirements
  • Apply environmental protection procedures
  • Improve quality of logistics services
  • Perform WSH activities and risk assessments
  • Report WSH incidents and suggest solutions
  • Work with technology projects and apply latest technology
  • Operate technology/tools in own work areas
  • Review warehousing quality issues and coordinate cargo/stock
  • Coordinate warehouse operations according to 5S techniques
  • Handle dangerous goods and time/temperature-sensitive cargo
  • Perform cargo consolidation, transhipment and transloading
  • Ensure compliance with height, weight and special handling requirements on pallets

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of SAP / Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Proficiency in basic Ms Office applications
  • Relevant warehouse experience
  • Physically fit for lifting and moving packages
  • Good team player, able to work independently
  • Fork Lift licence preferred
  • GCE N/O Levels / NITEC
  • 1-2 years of relevant warehouse experience
