Architectural Designer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Designer to join our team. As an Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for overseeing architectural and engineering design processes for construction projects.

The ideal candidate will assist the Design Manager in coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure design alignment with project requirements. This includes preparing and reviewing design drawings, specifications, and BOQs, as well as monitoring design changes and updating documentation accordingly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and reviewing design drawings, specifications, and BOQs;
  • Monitoring design changes and updating documentation accordingly;
  • Providing technical guidance to junior designers and drafters;
  • Resolving design conflicts and proposing cost-effective solutions;
  • Tracking design milestones and deadlines to ensure timely delivery;
  • Conducting site visits to verify design implementation and address on-site issues.

Required skills and qualifications include proficiency in utilizing design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM) to optimize workflows and stay updated on industry trends and sustainable design practices.

A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in architectural design, sustainability, and project management is essential for this role. A degree in Architecture or a related field, combined with relevant experience, is preferred.
