Master Planner

**Job Summary**

This position is accountable to review and upgrade the Demand/Supply Balanced Plan generated by the IBP Supply Solver. This role specifically develops Global Active Ingredients Supply Plan for the entire 36* month planning horizon (1-3 in weekly buckets and 4-36* months in monthly buckets.) Master Planners interface with Formulations Master schedulers and Supply Planners on operational planning issues within the 24-month horizon and with end-to-end Supply Chain Managers who manage supply chain strategy cross the 2-5-year horizon.

You will be responsible for the Diamides portfolio and its intermediates manufactured at sites, amounting to 2 strategic active ingredients; ~3 intermediates, ~ 9 manufacturing/toller/contract manufacturing sites, total volumes of over 12,000 - 13,000 MT annually. You will also support the Global Technical Sales requirements by ensuring supply is prepared for the sales for annual sales amounting to over ~USD600M.

**How You Will Help Us Succeed**

Once the final consensus demand plan is released to Supply Planning, a Master Planner:

- Starts their activity to review and upgrade the Demand/Supply Balanced Plan generated by the IBP Supply Solver
- Develops Global Active Ingredients Supply Plan for the entire 36* month planning horizon (1-3 in weekly buckets and 4-36* months in monthly buckets).
- Uses scenarios to evaluate alternate supply solutions as the planners develop a feasible procurement, production, and materials distribution plan
- Manages gaps in the plan by identifying options not accounted for by the system, including identifying and escalating potential risks on raw materials, production or capacity constrains in the supply chains (e.g., expedited delivery, additional labor)
- Maintains close interaction with regional Formulation Master Schedulers and Supply Planners to review system differences, demand changes, potential risks
- Develops and submits inventory forecast for at least next 12 rolling month
- Manages allocation/tight supply process of impacted portfolios when necessary
- Ensure that the prepared supply plan reflects the appropriate allocation of supply between toller and manufacturing sites.
- Prepares the global supply plan and communicates to the toller and manufacturing sites, ensuring that they plan for the necessary resources to meet this plan.
- Prepares the deployment plan from both Jinshan & Mobile to the regions based on the planning time horizon which will span between 2 to 6 months, depending on the total lead times of the respective portfolio. The Master planner will need to work with the respective regions to ensure stock transfer orders are executed accordingly.
- Works closely with the Master planner - Intermediates to plan, purchase and scheduled in time for production at tollers or manufacturing site to meet production plan.
- Prepares for the monthly Supply Review Meeting, ensuring that the supply plan, master schedules/production plans, purchase plans and deployment plans for the regions are in place.
- Ensure Master Data accuracy, consistently working with data analytics team, suppliers, operations, and procurement to keep MRP parameters up to date.
- Prepares for the Global supply review and be ready to respond to escalations by regions.
- Prepares for the FMC Singapore S&OP meetings on the Diamides business performance and supply plans. Collaborates with other functions as needed to prepare the business performance updates as required.
- Support GTS sales management by ensuring supply is planned for GTS Sales and support Demand Planning Manager - GTS as needed on addressing supply questions and upsides.
- Prepare and support the annual budgeting process.

**What You Will Bring to Us**
- Bachelors in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Management
- Advanced Supply Chain or Project Management Certification preferred (CSCP, CPIM, CPM)
- 8+ years of experience in multiple areas that would include time spent in functional supply chain role as well as manufacturing, procurement, finance, or another business function in a multi-national environment
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- ERP experience is required (SAP preferred)
- Direct experience in a planning role along with advanced planning system experience required
- Experience in manufacturing industries is preferred
- Understanding functional supply chain elements is required, including production operations, procurement, production planning and scheduling, inventory management, distribution, and customer.
- Manages work using data and metrics. Owns and utilize KPIs to manage process and drive improvement, including ensuring valid planning metric feedback is delivered every cycle to stakeholders
- Capable to facilitate meetings with appropriate stakeholders, such as manufacturing, procurement and/other planning members
