Social Service Sector Coordinator

Our organization is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to support the coordination of meaningful programs connecting volunteer befrienders with children from families affected by incarceration.
The Program Associate will play a vital role in facilitating Learning Journeys and Special Projects, as well as coordinating first home visits for the Learning Friends Program. This position also involves facilitating onboarding, training, and befriending sessions for volunteers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of program materials, providing administrative assistance, and coordinating ad-hoc volunteers for childminding duties during Caregiver Support Group and Adult Befriender monthly sessions.
Effective communication and collaboration with volunteers, partners, and stakeholders are essential for the smooth execution of programs.
This opportunity is suitable for fresh graduates or individuals with relevant experience seeking a start in the social service sector. The role offers hands-on experience in community work, event coordination, and volunteer engagement.
