Key Responsibilities

  1. Work as part of a team to develop new accounts and serve existing clients in fuel oil
  2. Provide pricing and brokering services to clients
  3. Calculate dealing prices in accordance with company policies
  4. Business development to attract new clients
  5. Manage sales and client relationships with customers and prospects
  6. Collaborate with all brokers on the broking desks
  7. Learn and understand physical cargo broking of fuel oil products and energy swap business
  8. Participate in on-the-job training to become a full-fledged broker (for Junior position)
  9. Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by managers

Requirements

  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
  • Bachelor's degree holder (no experience required)
  • Strong people and relationship-building skills with traders
  • Highly energetic, motivated, and enjoy meeting people to develop business
  • Previous sales experience is preferred
  • Fast learner with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Quick-witted and numerically inclined (preferably)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good tolerance for stress in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure
