- Role Summary
- A Derivatives Broker is an investment professional who advises individuals and corporations about how to buy, trade and sell derivatives. Our Brokers negotiate deals between entities for derivatives swaps, research investors, and analyse corporate asset portfolios to calculate how much a company should risk in the derivatives market. The main job is to present options to a client, help the client to make decision on how to proceed, and execute the final choice.
- We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented experienced Derivatives Broker to join our Iron Ore team in our Singapore office. You will work alongside our experienced Brokers to help strengthen relationships with existing clients for sales and help develop new business.
- You will be driven and self-motivated and be a strong relationship builder.
- What you will be doing- Iron Ore Broker for corporate clients who are hedging and speculating.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients.
- Create relationships and on-board new clients and prospects
- Maintain and develop market knowledge of the product and industry
- Understanding and complying with regulatory policies

**Job Requirement**
- What we are looking for
- Key Attributes- A University Degree majoring in Maritime Studies, Economics or Mathematics is preferred
- At least 2 years’ Commodities experience would be preferred
- Ability to exceed sales financial targets
- Hardworking and flexible
- Exceptional communication skills in English
- Strong resilience with the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
- Strong numeracy skills and excellent presentation skills
- Confident and able to work well under pressure, with the ability to adapt
- Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy
- Strong MS office skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Special Job Requirements- Travel as required.
