Facilities Maintenance Specialist

The role of a Facilities Maintenance Specialist involves ensuring the smooth operation of residential facilities. This entails adhering to sound engineering practices, building codes, and safety precautions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain tools and equipment through regular cleaning and lubrication, as well as visual inspections.
  • Implement preventative maintenance schedules for machinery, equipment, and facilities.
  • Inspect and maintain machinery, diagnose issues, repair or replace defective systems or components.
  • Adhere to Lockout/Tagout procedures when performing maintenance work.
  • Daily routine checks of pump rooms, consumer switch rooms, and MDF rooms.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Engineering Department.
  • Perform repairs such as replacing light bulbs in common areas and amenity spaces.
  • Participate in fire-fighting and safety evacuation exercises.
  • Address residence owners professionally, positively, and timely manner.
  • Listen actively and respond positively to residence owners' questions, concerns, and requests using specific processes to resolve issues and build trust.

This successful candidate should have basic skills in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing building equipment, as well as knowledge of hotel/residences maintenance and management, mechanical/electrical/plumbing & building engineering, and electrical control & trouble-shooting skills.
