Account Development and Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team within Digital Industry Singapore. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of accounts in the Infocomm and Technology (ICT) sector.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with C-level and management teams to understand their growth or transformation plans and identifying areas of collaboration or intervention with Digital Industry Singapore
  • Leading engagements within Digital Industry Singapore, as well as across government agencies, user organisations and other stakeholders to navigate and scope key projects, partnerships or pilot deployments to achieve desired outcomes in the account's growth and transformation roadmap
  • Leveraging across the agencies' programmes, schemes, incentives and networks to enable and accelerate the development and growth of the account
  • Being the Single-Point-of-Contact for the account and key internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing the administration of the programmes/projects and organising/ coordinating related activities for your accounts
  • Providing input, feedback and working with relevant teams and agencies to develop programmes, incentives and policies that may impact the development and growth of Singapore-based ICT enterprises
Growth Engine (Horizontal)

You will also contribute to at least one horizontal growth engine (e.g., markets, emerging technologies, talent, digitalisation, etc) and work with relevant teams (including across agencies) to provide inputs or co-develop programmes or policies that will support the growth and development of ICT companies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Years of working experience in the ICT industry and/or account management/business development/management consulting roles
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage senior stakeholders and partner agencies
  • Able to think critically and analytically to identify and conceptualise the most relevant intervention points and tools to support companies' growth
  • Able to zoom out and connect the dots to uncover new opportunities for collaboration, and identify potential ecosystem-supporting plays
  • Good networking skills to build long-term relationships with dynamic companies
  • Proactive self-starter, able to work well in a team
  • Able to multi-task, quick to adapt and able to work in a fast-changing environment
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Passionate to build and champion the ICM industry
  • Background in Computer/Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology preferred
