Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of standalone structures, ensuring all project requirements are met with precision.
  • Provide assistance in the design of building structures, including the development of detailed structural framing plans.
  • Undertake geotechnical design responsibilities, leveraging existing experience or demonstrating a commitment to acquiring new skills in this area.
  • Supervise and mentor supporting design engineers in the execution of detailed civil, structural, or geotechnical designs.
  • Oversight of drafting engineers to ensure the production of high-quality drawings that align with project specifications.
  • Planning and scheduling various scopes of work, including design, drawing production, authority submissions, and construction support to facilitate project success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Experience in concrete and steel structures design, and temporary works design.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of local codes of practice and regulations required for submissions to authorities.
  • Proficiency in essential structural design software, including ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP 2000, and MIDAS.
