Lead Structural Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Structural Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural designs and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform feasibility studies, concept design, FEED, and detailed designs for civil & structural (C&S) works in industrial/energy related projects.
  • Conduct presentations for concept, FEED, and detailed designs to clients and stakeholders.
  • Project management.
  • Carry out authorities' pre-consultation, submissions, and liaison with authorities for necessary approvals.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Preferably, honors degree in C&S Engineering from a recognized university with at least 5 years of detailed design experience in civil & structural engineering projects.
  • Experience in marine facilities' design would be an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years' relevant working experience in design of concrete and steel structures, drainage, sewerage, and road works infrastructures.
  • Candidates with more than 15 years of relevant experience will be considered for a higher position.
  • Conversant in Eurocodes, BS Codes, NFPA, API.
  • Conversant with local authorities' requirements and submissions.
  • Able to perform feasibility studies, conceptual, FEED, and detailed design using commercial software, Excel spreadsheets, etc.
  • Able to project manage assigned projects independently and possess strong presentation, communication, and report writing skills.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Chinese would be an advantage.
  • Able to travel for overseas projects on short notice.
