Core Banking Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Core Banking Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development and delivery of strategic projects and tactical changes related to Remittance and Payment Products.

The successful candidate will work closely with System Analysts, Release Managers, and Project Managers to develop and deliver regular releases or system upgrades for business and operation centers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain expertise in Remittance and Payment Products, including SWIFT Telegraphic Transfer, Local RTGS payment, and Inter-Account Fund transfer.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Design, develop, and test software applications using COBOL and AS400.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure smooth deployment of new features.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-5 years of experience in software development, preferably in the financial industry.
  • Strong understanding of Remittance and Payment Products, including SWIFT/RTGS payment systems.
  • Experience with COBOL, AS400, and Aldon Change Tool is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools and file transfer protocols such as MQ and Connect Direct.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently or in a small team.
