Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of our IT systems and controls, reviewing and updating internal policies and procedures as required, performing regular checks to ensure adherence to processes, and monitoring follow-up actions on internal and external audit findings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and Update IT Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor Audit Findings: Closely monitor follow-up actions on internal and external audit findings to prevent recurrences and ensure continuous improvement in IT operations.
  • Coordinate with External Auditors: Work closely with external auditors and internal teams to provide documentation for audit purposes and perform audit procedures to assess the effectiveness of IT policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Audit Testing and Evaluation: Conduct testing to assess the effectiveness of IT policies, procedures, and processes, and complete ad hoc duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • IT Internal Controls: Strong knowledge of IT internal controls and experience in implementing and maintaining effective controls.
  • Audit Procedures: Familiarity with audit procedures and the ability to perform testing to assess the effectiveness of IT policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Process Improvement: Experience in process improvement and the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
