Job Title: Family Support Specialist

At Adoptive Families, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to adoptive families, empowering them to navigate the adoption journey with confidence and sensitivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of prospective adoptive parents' suitability for adoption.
  • Prepare and assist in writing formal Adoption Suitability Assessment reports.
  • Provide pre and post-adoption support through education, counseling, and workshops.

Working Conditions:

  • 5 day work week: Mon-Fri
  • Location - Toa Payoh

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related discipline
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Passionate about adoption work
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in professional reporting writing and documentation
