System Analyst Job Description

The role of the System Analyst involves working on end-to-end projects for the implementation of MLS systems. The analyst will participate in solution design, ensuring that it complies with enterprise design principles, security, and control standards.

The System Analyst will liaise with application teams across groups and countries to build enhancements according to the technical solution plan. This includes analysing user requirements and converting them into design documents and other system documentation.

  • Work on technical deliverables, perform design and development works to meet project requirements within schedule.
  • Perform data mapping and process mapping with interfacing applications.
  • Escalate issues impacting project schedule and propose workarounds/resolutions.

Additionally, the System Analyst will create technical documents for solutions, compile comprehensive and accurate documentation, and test/maintain software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.

They will work with production support team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code, and/or perform unit testing. The analyst will also partner with Test Management teams to ensure completion of SIT, UAT, performance/load testing, and application security testing with quality results.

Job Requirements:

  • More than 10 years assuming a techno-functional role in compliance technology (preferred) or risk/finance technology.
  • At least 14 years of experience in application and process design.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and handle large amounts of data.
