Bar Operations Manager Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing bar operations, including stock management, staff supervision, and quality control.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all bar outlets, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality, and driving profitability through effective cost management and sales growth strategies.

  • Manage the daily operations of the bar, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with the F&B Operations Manager and Outlet Heads to achieve operational objectives and improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that there is sufficient stock in all outlets, schedule staff, oversee operation, conducting monthly stock-take, submission of claims, control expenses and wastage of materials.
  2. Liaise with the F&B Operations Manager and Outlet Heads on operational aspects.
  3. Communicate all matters to bar staff, explain objectives and expectations.
  4. Arrange with relevant Department Heads on rectification of defects and other matters.
  5. Prepare weekly duty roster, submit claims of staff.
  6. Monitor revenue of beverage and tobacco items and compare to budget. Prepare actions to achieve sales target, observe staff performance and correct if necessary.
  7. Provide leadership and train staff.
  8. Render full support to Banquet and Events; and other F&B Outlets when required.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
