IT Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to oversee the development and maintenance of our in-house applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with application development, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both Japan-based and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of in-house application development and maintenance
  • Gather requirements, create system designs, and prepare project estimates
  • Coordinate and communicate with development teams in Japan and offshore development teams to ensure project alignment
  • Lead project management activities to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Japanese is required for frequent communication with Japan-based development teams and stakeholders
  • Proven experience in application development is essential
  • Prior experience as a team leader or in a management role within IT product development is necessary
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing cross-cultural or cross-border IT projects would be beneficial
  • Familiarity with modern development methodologies and tools would be advantageous
