About the Role

We are seeking a Digital Transformation Expert – Variable Speed Drives to contribute to our team built on inclusion, mastery, purpose, action, curiosity, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demand generation and prescription: Engage with target customers and consultants, deliver technical presentations on our portfolio of products and services related to soft starters and variable speed drives.
  • Technical needs discovery and product selection: Analyse customer requirements from customer discussions and tender specifications, and propose suitable VSD products/solutions to meet requirements.
  • Partner enablement: Upskill existing and new channel partners on VSD product selection.
  • Performance modeling: Calculate expected energy savings, torque profiles, and system efficiency improvements using engineering tools and selection software.
  • Demos: Set up demos showcasing the advanced application functionalities of Schneider Drives that deliver tangible benefits to the customer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
  • Min 5 years of experience in VSD – low voltage and medium voltage. Good understanding on their functionality and applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to analyse technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Passion for understanding and championing the needs of VSD users.
  • Assertive, adaptable, and capable of working in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English. In addition, fluency in Chinese is preferred.
