Job Description

Careers@Gov is seeking an experienced Event Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Events Team, you will be responsible for planning and executing events that meet organisational objectives.

About the Role
  • Plan, organise and execute events such as conferences, seminars, trade shows and corporate meetings involving international government and industry leaders.
  • Develop event concepts, themes and agendas in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation and accommodation.
  • Oversight of event marketing and promotion, including social media, email campaigns and print materials.
  • Lead and manage event staff, including volunteers, contractors and vendors.
  • Evaluate event success and provide post-event reports and analysis.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in event management.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in event planning and management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events.
  • Strong organisational, project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is SGD $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. Careers@Gov offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, retirement plan and paid time off.
