Strategic Talent Development Specialist

This role supports HR management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural perspectives, and administers talent management and succession planning activities within the assigned business unit.

The Strategic Talent Development Specialist is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for supporting with the application of corporate policies related to HR, organizational advancement, and employee growth.

This specialist will work closely with stakeholders to address staff-related issues and ensure alignment with business goals pertaining to young and mid-level talent.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Workforce Planning & Compliance :
  2. Align workforce planning with business unit staffing needs and statutory requirements
  3. Develop comprehensive programs for young and mid-level talent
Collaboration and Communication:

Coordinate stakeholders to address staff-related issues and ensure alignment with business goals pertaining to the young and mid level talent.

Government Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with government agencies on funding initiatives that align with business requirements.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI):

Drive DEI initiatives by implementing strategies that align with the organization's goals and values. Ensure DEI strategies are integrated into all aspects of the business, including recruitment, employee engagement, and professional development.

  • Developing expertise in performance appraisal processes, goal setting, and performance improvement techniques
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Human Resources or a related field.

Required Experience:

Moderate level of experience working in a similar role preferably gained within a global IT organization.

Moderate level of experience working closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at different levels in the business.
