Experienced Billing Coordinator
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced billing coordinator to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate completion of patient billing activities, working closely with business office staff and other departments to capture all data elements accurately and on a timely basis.
The role involves monitoring unbilled accounts, updating records and databases, and corresponding and liaising with patients, third-party payers, and external organizations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:- Work closely with business office staff and other departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of patient billing activities
- Ensure all data elements required are captured accurately and on a timely basis
- Monitor unbilled accounts, update records and databases
- Correspond and liaise with patients, third-party payers, and external organizations
- Assist in training new team members and maintain internal control
