Job Description:

As a site lead, you will be responsible for planning, leading and managing a team of project engineers and designers to implement capital projects. Your primary goal is to ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Manage a team of project engineers and designers, including external contractors, to deliver capital projects.
  • Plan and facilitate annual physical condition assessments for plant and facilities, and develop action plans with area owners and stakeholders.
  • Develop the Site Facility Investment Plan (FIP) based on plant and facilities condition assessments and site strategies.
  • Lead and facilitate key forums such as the Pre-Growth Forum, Growth Forum, and Project Compliance Forum to seek endorsement on project proposals and compliance matters.
  • Collaborate with project managers from various functions to develop and approve project initiation documents.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in engineering or a relevant discipline, minimum 10 years' experience in the chemical/pharmaceutical industry, and strong knowledge of industrial standards, equipment, systems and maintenance. You should also have experience managing projects worth over £20 million, good commercial knowledge, including contractual law, and proven project execution and management experience.
