The Managing Director - Private Capital will be a senior and experienced investment professional in charge of global client relationships. This role will be responsible for sourcing deal flow from his/her network that will lead to private market investments. This person will be responsible for building client network within the family offices and also maintain good internal communication with other Managing Directors, Principals, and Associates with a sector focus on real estate, infrastructure, private credit and PE/VC. The role will be involving into the investment advisory as well as help on the portfolio construction.

**Specific Responsibilities**
- Provide hands-on leadership for all aspects of marketing and investment activity—from onboarding to investments—with the goal of investing a significant amount of capital annually into high-quality opportunities
- Source proprietary investment opportunities and create an investment deal flow pipeline
- Validate the business opportunity, establish an investment case, and structure and negotiate terms for potential investments
- Maintain great relationships with entrepreneurs and other private funds.
- Develop a complete understanding of the global private market, by evaluating its market opportunity, competition, product, sales and growth, operations, financial statements and projections, management strength, equity needs, and capital structure
- Work with and support portfolio companies, including attending client meetings and monitoring performance to ensure returns and strategic objectives are achieved

**Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in finance, accounting or audit;
- A minimum of 8 years of experience including significant experience at a top-tier fundraising firm, or major corporation private equity group, with a deep understanding of the private market space. Work experience in Europe and Asia while taking the leadership role;
- Proven experience from investment advisory and possession of a solid FO relationship;
- Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to define issues, propose sound recommendations, and implement approved solutions in support of specified goals; attention to detail is critical;
- Fluent in Business Mandarin and English. Another European language will be advantageous;
