Intelligent Data Insights Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team in a pivotal transformational change.
This role involves transforming complex data sets into actionable insights and providing data-driven solutions to drive business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Data exploration and preparation - collecting and processing datasets from various sources, identifying patterns and trends to formulate research questions.
- Statistical analysis: applying statistical techniques and hypothesis testing to derive insights from data, developing predictive models and classification algorithms to solve business problems.
- R+D: experimenting with AI/ML models that serve to offer speed of insight across datasets, make predictions and automate complex tasks.
- Artificial intelligence and machine learning development: utilising algorithms and ML methodologies to build models for tasks such as classification, clustering, regression, and recommendation systems.
- Collaborating across the business: working with engineers, product managers and business analysts to ensure data science work aligns with organisational goals.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience as a data scientist, quantitative analyst or similar role. Experience in the financial services industry is necessary.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Tableau, QuickSight, Power BI, QlikView, Plotly or Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to write robust code in Python, R or Java along with experience in data manipulation and analysis using libraries like pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.
