Business Intelligence Analyst Role

The role of a Business Intelligence Analyst involves utilizing data analysis and reporting to uncover business insights. This position contributes to the organization's data-driven decision-making culture.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into impactful dashboards, reports, and data insights.
  • To analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and key performance metrics.
  • To recognize actionable insights that drive strategic and operational decisions.
  • To communicate findings and recommendations clearly to business and technical stakeholders through reports, presentations, and visualizations.
  • To design and develop dashboards and self-service reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • To work with data engineering teams to define data requirements and ensure data availability and integrity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science & Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in BI analysis, data analytics, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data.
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and experience working with large datasets.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
