Job Summary:

The Operational Resilience Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the Operational Resilience Program, ensuring the oversight, reporting, and execution of operational resilience initiatives.

This position will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and align Important Business Service Capabilities, while monitoring risks and vulnerabilities across all services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and align Important Business Service Capabilities based on their strategic importance and impact.
  • Lead the review and oversight of compliance with the Operational Resilience Policy and Standard.
  • Ensure risks and issues are documented, tracked, and reported in a timely manner.
  • Lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
  • Act as a support for colleagues with less experience.
  • Monitor and analyze the impact of new products and organizational changes.

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of operational resiliency, including disaster/business recovery, business continuity management, 3rd-party vendor/outsourcing, corporate risk policies, and standards.
  • Strong understanding of risk management practices, including cyber security, and how they apply in financial services organizations, including the impact of regulation on operational resiliency matters.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to drive to execution.
  • Applies knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize department performance.
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of resiliency regulations, jurisdictional requirements, and guidelines within the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions for financial services organizations.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or commensurate related job experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience in Operational Resilience.
  • Experience of working in rapidly changing and ambiguous work environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functions to achieve measurable results.
  • Manages related teams, sets team priorities, and allocates resources to align with business objectives.
