Job Summary
The Edge Partnership is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Chief Risk Officer organization, this role will support the management and oversight of all risks within our Operations department.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement an Operational Risk Framework tailored to our fintech/financial service provider business model.
- Lead the design of our second line of defence in managing Operational Risk, encompassing strategy, governance, business engagement, policy, and awareness.
- Develop and oversee the Risk and Control Self-Assessment Process.
- Collaborate with our Technology, Product, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure systems and processes are built in a resilient and compliant manner.
- Provide guidance to our first line teams to identify and manage Operational Risks on an ongoing basis.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements in Singapore related to Operational Risk and ensure our processes are compliant.
- Manage regulatory reporting requirements to our regulators.
- Foster a culture of Operational Risk awareness and promote high-quality audit outcomes.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in financial services/fintech with 3-5 years in Operational Risk management.
- Strong understanding of technology and retail products in the fintech/payments/digital banking space.
- Ability to deploy risk assessment techniques using data analytics.
- Influencing skills and ability to manage working relationships with 1st LoD colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment.
