Position Overview:

Northern Trust is seeking a dedicated Operational Resilience Specialist to enhance our team. This position will play a crucial role in advancing the Operational Resiliency Program across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, managing essential initiatives and working closely with diverse stakeholders to uphold operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business and technology partners to pinpoint and align Critical Business Service Capabilities
  • Oversee business dependency management for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions, assessing risks and vulnerabilities across all services
  • Facilitate adherence to the Operational Resilience Policy and Standards
  • Document, monitor, and communicate risks and issues in a timely manner
  • Manage projects with defined risks and resource needs
  • Provide mentorship to less experienced team members
  • Evaluate the implications of new products and organizational changes

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of operational resilience, including disaster recovery and risk management
  • Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity and its relevance in Financial Services
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication abilities
  • Capacity to drive execution and enhance departmental performance
  • Extensive knowledge of resiliency regulations within the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Operational Resilience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Experience in team management and aligning resources with business goals
