Job Title: Food Innovation Specialist


We are seeking a highly motivated Food Innovation Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food technology and be able to work closely with our R&D team to develop new raw material concepts and contribute to recipe innovation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine quality evaluations on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with internal standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the R&D team to support the testing and application of raw materials in product trials.
  • Propose and develop new raw material concepts and contribute to recipe innovation.
  • Assist in refining existing materials to improve product performance or efficiency.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to explore and evaluate new ingredient sources for development purposes.
  • Contribute to scale-up process planning by helping translate lab trials into production-ready workflows.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory and pilot production area in accordance with internal safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Support documentation efforts relating to food safety systems and regulatory compliance.
  • Accurately record all trials, formulations, and observations; compile technical reports as required.
  • Carry out miscellaneous tasks and assignments as delegated by supervisors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma or ITE in Culinary, Food Science, Food Technology or any other related field.
  • At least 1 year of related working experience would be preferred.
