Food Innovation Specialist

In this critical position, you will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions to customers across various applications. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
About the JobThis role is responsible for assisting in the design and execution of laboratory trials across different food applications using Tate and Lyle's product portfolios. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, planning, and executing laboratory trials to meet customer needs and requirements
- Supporting product development and formulation work to develop new products and improve existing ones
- Preparing prototypes for internal evaluations, customer samples, and demonstrations
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A degree in Food Science or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in the food industry, preferably in product development and project lead roles
- Solid understanding of food science, ingredients functionality, and formulation techniques across a range of food and beverage applications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
