Head of Credit Administration

Job Summary
The Regional Head of Credit Administration - APAC Region will be responsible for leading the Credit Administration function in the APAC region, ensuring the efficient and effective management of credit facilities and documentation. This role will require strong leadership and management skills, as well as expertise in credit administration and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement credit administration policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies.
- Lead and manage a team of credit administrators to ensure the timely and accurate processing of credit facilities and documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the bank to ensure effective communication and coordination of credit administration activities.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of credit documentation and ensure that all necessary security and collateral are in place.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, product specialists, and other business units.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on credit administration policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all credit administration activities are conducted in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with credit administration activities.
- Develop and implement control measures to ensure the effective management of credit facilities and documentation.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure the effective use of credit administration systems and tools.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on credit administration activities and performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in banking, with at least 7 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of credit administration policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of credit risk management and credit administration systems and tools.
